Communication was a key factor also. Took 15 hours for hosts to respond back. To get door code . The kitchen does not include an oven. There is a microwave and toaster oven. The apartment is over the owners house down stairs. There is not any privacy on their patio. They can watch you if you choose to sit down there. The BBQ grill has not been cleaned in a long time making it non usable.. The mattress cover and pillows are both stained with yellow and tan colored stains. Plus a slight aroma to the old pillows we noticed also as well. The apartment does not face the water..listed as ocean view. Should say bay view but not from the rental. You can watch cars down on the street. We took their Duffy out into the harbor and it quit. Fortunately we lived at one time across the bay and had a boat of our own. My husband was able to get us back to the dock very slowly. The boat was the main reason we chose this location and we were familiar with the neighborhood. I would suggest that you rent someplace else if you want a nice vacation. The owners are nice enough but should retire from the VRBO business. They did partially refund some of our stay. We reserved 8 days at this location and they refunded only 2 days worth. Please fix the situation in your apartment and clarify truly what you are renting. Make sure the bedding is clean and fresh. Don’t list the Duffy as an incentive unless it’s in great condition. We were lucky to be able to return without being towed.
