This is a completely renovated Church from the 1700’s with a kickin’ sound system right in the middle of the Burren. 'The townhouse was very nice. It's not very big, but more than adequate for the four of us driving around Ireland. We liked that it was a townhouse and not a hotel. So, there's a living room and dining room in addition to the bedrooms. There's also a small, cozy backyard. There was a slight problem with communication because the owner sent instructions via Travelocity/Expedia and the message wasn't delivered. So, we called and he sent it again. 'The most beautiful setting and historic buildings modernized with every comfort. Exceptional decoration and appointments. Our host Marion was lovely and helpful and her scones were delicious. Our chef Damien Culliney performed last minute miracles feeding extra family members. 'Nice spot in Quin. Best for persons with rental cars. Not really walkable (dangerous road without a bright yellow vest) to Quin village but taxis and Uber is available, if you’re lucky and patient. Clean, welcoming, all you need for a long stay including washing machine, dryer, fridge, dining ware, cutlery, etc. Would stay again. '

'This was a lovely property in every way. Three spacious bedrooms, conservatory with a beautiful view, a cozy warm home, especially when coming back from a damp day. Bertie was very generous with her ‘welcome’ food basket, we hardly needed to go shopping. It is about a 10 minute drive from Miltown Malbay so don’t expect to be walking into town though. But once you’ve spent your day exploring, spending the evening at home was quite nice'

'We loved the Coachhouse! The historical setting off of a courtyard with the 18th century barracks and a castle tower was unique and memorable. The Coachhouse itself is lovely with exposed brick and wood, fully equipped kitchen and laundry and working fireplace. We loved it!'

'My wife and I cancelled our hotels and booked this house for 7 days and it was so amazing that we booked and extra day and changed our flights to fly out of Shannon instead of driving back up to Northern Ireland and taking ferry back to Edinburgh. We are coming back to Ireland in 2027 and will definitely try to book this beautiful home again. We took day trips to Dublin etc. Gillian was great.'

'A great experience to stay in these more than 300 year old soldier-cottages, close to the water set in a remarkable scenic surrounding. The warm and friendly atmosphere from both nature and created by the owners were greatly appreciated. Although the internet was sometimes a little sluggish, all other amenities where well up to mark. We would love to come back here another time to enjoy the peace and quiet a little more.'

'The Derg House was perfect for our stay with lots of space and wonderful views from the house and from the garden. We enjoyed all aspects of the house with seating areas for all types of activities. Around the fire pit in the evenings was an especially lovely time and we saw the Aurora Borealis which was very special. Definitely a prime location for trips and for seeing family in near-by Nenagh. 'Such an easy walk to the little downtown area with pubs, shops, and restaurants. Hosts were very nice and everything was perfect especially once we figured out how to work the lock on the front door'

'The house was lovely, clean, well furnished (in a way that makes you feel like you’re visiting somewhere special), and spacious. We loved waking up in the morning to the spectacular views and returning home after sight seeing to a company friendly kitchen and comfortable living room. The hosts who passed off the keys were an added treat: gave us the inside scoop to get away from more touristy attractions to more local ones, and made us feel like we were friends.'

'I booked the property for a three week trip to Ennistymon May- June. The location was great, on the main street, but the traffic didn't bother me. Inside the 4 walls if the house was lovely, bright and clean. I took off a star because the outside was covered with spiders and webs and very dirty, like it hadnt been cleaned for months and the laundry room outside was the same.
