« Charming motel and nice grounds. Room very basic but clean and comfortable. Staff were great. Food truck had very tasty options. It was nice to grab our supper from the truck along with a couple beers from the bar and hang out on the deck. We will stay here again when back in the area. »

« This is a very old property. The current owners are trying to update everything. I wish I could give it a higher rating because they're trying so hard. The rooms are very dated but the beds were comfortable. They are updating the rooms one at a time The location is great, less than half a mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Hopefully they can revive this motel. There's a great restaurant down the road in Linville Falls called The Famous Rockhouse. I highly recommend them for breakfast. »

« What and amazing little cabin in a fantastic community! My family and I had a wonderful time. So much attention was put into every hosting detail and it made our stay over-the-top enjoyable. We will definitely be back again! »

« Skyline Village Inn is a quaint, magical place with a wonderful stepping-back-in-time feeling to a peaceful, slower pace of life. The view from the balcony is gorgeous, and it was the perfect place to spend the full moon. I loved my stay so much that I booked a second night. This enchanting inn has definitely earned a place on my list of places to return to. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in the Blue Ridge Mountains. »

So close to great trail heads and fun towns, but...

« This is a cute little chalet. It slept the four of us just fine. Just a couple of issues, baby mothes throughout, back burner is burnt out on stove, light bulb was burned out upstairs, and overall the decor feels dated except for the new sofa. Also, outdoor chairs were dirty and filled with spider webs. »

« The motel is well situated in an area that has plenty of places to eat and things to see and do. We're from the area, and didn't get to see everything we wanted to. The staff was very accommodating. Pet friendly rooms need to see some love. Smoking was allowed in the room, and the carpets and top covers were full of burn holes. My pillow cases had burns on them. Pool looked very nice and clean. EXPEDIA should warn the customer that the rate that they (expedia) are quoting DOES NOT include Pet...
