'Good communication in advance. Cabin is steps away from the Linville River. Large field near cabin great for frisbee or playing catch with baseball gloves. About 15 minutes from a decent-sized grocery store.'

'I will start with my only negative on this home. The driveway is very small. We had our Ram truck and it fit under the covered parking area. But a bigger vehicle might not fit. That's it. Everything else was so good. The house had multiple reminder notes around it. Which I find very helpful. The kids and I loved every well placed detail. The toy closet was a huge hit. We're hoping to book this home again in the future. '

'Perfect central location to Banner Elk, Boone, and Linville. If you are looking for privacy and seclusion this is the place. Cabin layout is great for a family or up to 3 couples. Comfortable beds. The road is well maintained and easy to get to the cabin. Plenty of parking. Few things to note. There is no internet (even though VRBO listing says so) However we had great cell service with 3 bars (verizon). Satellite TV provided with limited channels. The keyless lock is tricky. 'Great place to relax, very quiet and private. Drive up is a little challenging but we had no trouble. I have stayed there several times over the past few years. Close to Linville and Grandfather Mountain.'
