Newland Head Conservation Park

Good location on Rundle Mall. We were just there for one night & checked in after hours, which was easy enough - you just call a phone number provided in an email. Parking was already validated for us, in the Wilson’s carpark, so that was really helpful. Cute little touches in the room such as hot chocolate sachets & Tim tams! The toiletries provided in the bathroom were really nice too. The bed & pillows were comfy & the room was cosy. It had everything we needed for a night’s stay. If you’re after coffee in the morning, there’s a little coffee kiosk in the Adelaide Arcade. Check out was easy, as the keys were just put back in the lock box. Security deposit was refunded quickly too, most places take ages to refund this, so that was great too.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I stayed in 2 different rooms - one was a bit tired and had a safety lock broken (so I requested a room change) the other one more modern. Staff was very helpful in accomodating the room change. Unfortunately there was quite a bit of noise from outside (hotel is an an area with a lot of nightlife around). Breakfast food was adequate. Fresh fruits, cereal, yoghurt and good hot buffet but limited pastry selection. Ambiance of bar and breakfast area lackluster.

Located on the South Terrace and one of the few hotels with a pool (if I remember correctly). The room was beautiful and very modern. Some of the reception staff were rather unfriendly when we asked for extra towels. We were staying in a room with 3 people and there were always only 2 towels. So we asked 1 more a the reception for the room and 2 for the pool and he told us to use the same one?! Housekeeping was also weird sometimes, I had to write them a note to let them know there were 3 people staying in the room so we needed 3 towels and not the 'standard' 2. Which I mean you do let housekeeping know how many people are coming in right? And once they did not make my bed because there was a sweater on it. I mean are you kidding me?! A freaking sweater. She wrote a note a put it on the bed saying she couldn't make my bed because my stuff was on it. She could've used that time to make my bed... Otherwise had a great stay. Supermarket is close by as well as other shops.
