'Ideally located for Hadrian's Wall walkers and next to Milecastle Inn, we enjoyed one night's stay here. Very comfortable and we would probably choose to stay here for several nights if walking the national trail again. '

'We arrived at the VRBO after a bit of difficulty locating the house number as we were not aware of the house number and a letter after it…maybe 7E or something like that. We also thought once you entered the lockbox code the door would unlock. It took quite some time after a cousin drove up to advise there is a key inside the lockbox. Not easy to open. 'The most beautiful place I've stayed at. The cottage was stunning, clean, had everything you could need, even a fabulous welcome pack. The ruin surroundings were beautiful too. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone. Absolutely first class ☆☆☆☆☆'
