'No problems'

'Op 11 februari 2012 om 22.15 uur waren wij bij Beechwood Guest House te South Shields England. Wij konden niet incheken en wij moesten buiten op straat wachten. Wij belden de receptie op. De receptie zei tegen ons dat wij te laat waren en dat wij naar een ander hotel moesten gaan zoeken. Dezelfde ochtend waren wij al langs deze guest house gekomen en toen zei de receptie dat wij "at any time" konden inchecken.Wij wisten ook dat de kamer al betaald was en dat bij late aankomst onze kamer...

'mysrlf and my wife had a overnight stay at 61, we were greeted by the host who explained all about the hotel and the surrounding pubs snr restaurants, the room was clean and well furnished, we dropoed our bags freshened up and headed out to a pre booked place on the sand at Rileys fish Shack, if you are looking for good food with a twist, i would highly recommend it, following the meal and a trip around the local pubs, we headed back for a good nights rest, the following morning we headed...

'Warm onthaal door eigenaars Janet en Peter. Zeer geïnteresseerd en goed op de hoogte van allerhande zaken, weten veel van de omgeving en de cultuur. Serveren binnen enkele minuten een over heerlijk ontbijt, geheel naar eigen wens in te vullen.'

'Vriendelijke gastvrouw maar dat maakt de rest niet goed. Parkeren in de straat niet mogelijk. Paar straten verderop of anders betaald parkeren op openbaar parkeerterrein. Onderhoud matig kleine kamer 3 bij 4 met 5 bedden, gedeeld toilet en douche die ook nog eens niet echt schoon waren. Niet aan te raden als familiekamer.'

'No complaints. Just a Suggestion please. I could not find a hand wash either in the bathroom sink or the Kitchen Sink. I had to use the shower Gel in the bathroom to wash my hands. It would be nice to have a hand-wash please. Would defo help guests like me,'

'Struggled to get into place. Details sent hours before arrival after I chased them up. Couldn’t find key lock cos it was on front door which was in total darkness. Local guy used his key to let me in. No heating working. Freezing cold in room. Lights not working in kitchen nor toilet/bathroom so couldn’t see to pee'

'Great communications to help aid checking in, and signs when you got their first class. Room was spotless, and also a very nice furnished room. Only 2 very small grumbles, one the first night was quite cold and the small radiator near the door struggles to provide the room much warmth, and second one was I thought the bed was small, it could be a standard double but felt slightly smaller. Other than everything was spot on and would use again.'

'First impressions not good....loose tiles on front door step,grubby stained carpets everywhere,open kitchen bins.steep staircases.Our room was in the Attic and we are both in our 70s !!!! Tiny Shower Room with cracked damp stained ceiling.Tiny Wardrobe,dirty dusty windowsill. This "Hotel" is permanently occupied by 2 Residents. Owner was friendly enough.'

'Mooie pand, super locatie. Niet ver van het station, vlak bij de kaaien waar je super mooi kan wandelen en is het mooiste stuk van de stad. Vlak bij het centrum. Leuke eetgelegenheden in de buurt. Wij hadden een duplex appartement. Ongelooflijk mooi en ruim. Absoluut een aanrader! '
