The barman / night porter was most engaging and good fun. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order with great variety. The hotel is out of town and was very quiet. In fact I m returning again this week.'

'We had the most wonderful stay at Blackwell House in Scarva! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome — nothing was too much trouble. The house itself is absolutely beautiful, full of charm and character, with every little detail thought of to make guests feel at home. The food was incredible (and plentiful!) and the rooms were spotless, cosy, and luxurious all at once. It’s one of those rare places where you can truly switch off and relax, and yet still feel utterly spoiled....
