'Room was very good. Rather warm, but turning the radiators off and opening the windows sorted that out. A very pleasant stay with the breakfast a 6 mile walk and a light lunch in the pub.'

'The staff were courteous on arrival and gave us a tour of the beautiful building before showing us to our room. The house and surrounding environment were superb. The room was comfortable and clean albeit a little too warm at night. Our breakfast was tasty and varied served by a very polite young lady. We enjoyed our brief stay very much and would recommend it to others. '

'Beautiful hotel and lovely staff. We upgraded to a grand suite which was gorgeous. Had a meal at eighty eight, the look of the restaurant was great and the food matched, very tasty. A slight issue with some drinks going on our bill by mistake which I’m unsure how that happened as you sign for them, and we didn’t get our chocolates and water for the journey home which the check out staff said would be in our car. Overall a fabulous stay with some tiny issues.'

'Very comfy big bed, shower and taps took ages to get hot, but eventually did. Lots of tea and coffee options in room together with a fridge with wine and snacks if required. Breakfast was excellent. Staff very friendly. Bit strange going in and out at back of the building, but happy to recommend as somewhere central to stay.'
