Over deze accommodatie

Lakeside retreat

  • At the Lakeside retreat you can experience Florida from its most beautiful side. Located directly on a small lake, turtles, otters and of course many species of birds can be observed directly from the tropical garden. Short excursions into the lake landscape are possible with the in-house pedal boat or canoe. Surrounded by dense palm hedges, the landscaped garden offers a lot of privacy and the pool invites you to cool off.
There are wonderful beaches and numerous shopping opportunities within a 15-minute drive. The sponge diving town of Tarpon Springs with the sponge docks and the charming downtown is also worth seeing. Tampa Airport is just 40 minutes away.

We loved the place! The rooms were very comfortable and the house was spacious and clean. The pool and backyard area were very comfortable and fun, we had a great time barbecuing and enjoying the space. We will definitely be back to stay again.

After staying at countless properties this one was far and away my favorite in every way. No detail was over looked - from cookware to buttery sheets - from fairy lights to the outside kitchen, and the genuine privacy. It's a little spot of heaven. Then add to that the remarkable kindness, helpful nature, ease of communication with our hosts and you have a truly special spot. I cant wait to come back and it will be as soon as I possibly can. Thank you for an amazing weekend, I couldnt have possibly asked nor wanted for anything more 🩷

Perfect quaint and comfortable oasis for my family of four. The kids loved the pool and I loved the surprising number of wild birds all around the property. For this value, you’re not getting a Four Seasons, but you’re getting a fun, comfortable, clean space in a safe neighborhood that has lots of thoughtful touches and provides everything you need. Perfect if you’re not overly fussy and looking for a budget-friendly accommodation. The host also had excellent communication. The beds were also super comfortable.

Comfortable, clean, & tidy! All supplies one might need for kitchen & bath were provided. Linens were plush, beds were comfortable. The host's communication was prompt, clear, and courteously responsive to the one request we made. The pool in the largely-private backyard was a highlight, and the home was a great casual base for our adventures in the Gulf area. I think it is fair to note that, visually, the drive in through the neighborhood does not inspire the confidence the home itself warrants. (This is obviously beyond the host's control, who has the cheeriest house on the street.) But our stay was quiet and peaceful; and the next door neighbors were on obviously good terms with the host's mother, who we met as we left. (A wonderfully friendly person, I might add!) If you are looking to stay in this vicinity, this is a great choice - one we'd return to again!

“ A Birds Paradise “ Very relaxing, a great escape from hustle and bustle of everyday life. Everything is there to really relax. The beds were super cozy. Big TVs, two full bathrooms. The jacuzzi is warm and ready to use. The heated pool for that nightly swim. Fully stocked with all your essentials. Best, a private back yard like you’re on a Caribbean island. Very Covenant and close to grocery stores and the sponge docks to stroll and eat. We definitely will come back. Thanks Christian for being a great host and available for anything we needed!

Christian's home was more than we expected. Very clean and neat with all the extra amenities. The highlight of staying there was meeting Christian's Mom (Trudy). What a delightful, heartwarming, hardworking classy lady. Our fondest memory of staying in New Port Richey, Florida is Trudy.

Location was perfect for the event we were in town for. The yard, while overgrown due to the amount of rain FL is getting, was great for my dog. Check-in, out was super easy. Everything was comfortable.

What a peaceful spot. All the touches are so amazing. The kitchen is lacking for nothing, the back yard area is the best, we saw so much wild life. The pool is so private and sitting on the dock for sunset is beautiful! Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

Nice Home!

Our stay was amazing! 5 of us (incl 1 teen) and we all had am amazing time. The pool was clean and refreshing, the home was clean and stated comfortably cool the entire time. The home is well stocked with everything you could possibly need. My only recommendation would be to put a TV in the 2nd bedroom. Other than that, perfect!

The property is adorable and inviting. The home was filled with everything you could need and more. The pool was wonderful, and sunrise/sunsets on the dock are gorgeous. Very clean and good location with close by shopping and resteraunts. Check in was a breeze. We booked after loosing power from Milton and the hosts were very responsive and so kind and helpful. Great Location

Our family attended a college graduation in Tampa and this was the perfect location. Away from the large city traffic, but close enough to drive in if we needed. Lots of shops and food choices nearby. We especially loved the pool and it was great taking early morning walks in the neighborhood (which has sidewalks). Everything was as pictured. Would definitely stay here again.

The landscaping in the backyard is gorgeous and tropical! The dock was a bonus because my husband and brother were able to catch bass back there! All in all a wonderful little spot!

Excellent people to work with

Owners went above and beyond to accommodate us last minute. Friends coming in town for an event and storm damaged the place they were booked. This one opened up and helped out very last minute. We appreciate everything. K9 Jerry Lee approved and gives 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
