'The hotel and the grounds were stunning. Every single member of staff (I talk to everyone) was wonderful; so helpful and friendly. The outdoor heated pool was delightful. No air con or fan in the room wasn’t great but the windows did open wide so that helped, although we were on the ground floor and by the road so cars going past was a bit noisy. Noise from the rooms upstairs was a lot. But, overall, our stay was really lovely and I’d definitely stay again. '

'Beautiful hotel in amazing settings. Our first stay here and we visit the New Forest every year. We won’t be staying anywhere else in the future. Lovely atmosphere, excellent food and wine, lovely gardens and the service was outstanding. Plus ev charger so we left with a full charge for the next leg of our journey!'

'Absolutely loved our 2 night stay here, one of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in. Super friendly staff from the moment we walked in, nothing was too much trouble, they are genuinely invested in making each and every guest feel valued and welcome. We stayed in Portland and it was a delightful room; spotlessly clean with a stunning view of the needles. Nice little freeview tv with all apps available to log into. Food and drinks really good. Try the spicy mango margarita, absolutely bang on ;)...

'Had a lovely stay in this apartment . It was excellent. Very very clean and comfortable, with everything you could need and a lot of little extras. Just a couple of steps over to the clifftop in Barton on sea. Would definitely stay again.'

'Dit hotel heb ik (reisagent) geboekt als 5 sterren accomodatie. Het blijkt een 5 sterrenkeuken/restaurant te zijn met kamers. De hotelkamers doen ze er een beetje bij, als restaurantgasten willen blijven slapen, na hun diner. Er is ook geen aparte receptie, maar meteen bij de ingang een desk waar de restaurantgasten zich melden. Buitenkant en omgeving van hotel stelt erg teleur, verouderd, wordt nu wel geschilderd. We kregen een kamer met uitzicht op de afzuigingsbuizen van de keuken, veel...

'For our 50th wedding anniversary we rented Seaway with our family group of 10 - ranging in ages from 22 months to 72 years ! We had a lovely stay and the accommodation was very clean and comfortable and well equipped just as the photographs . Lovely garden area too . Short drive to nearest beach with easy parking . Very nice area with plenty to do . Would recommend.'

' This was our 8th stay at SandbankHotel and hope to return in late summer we no longer go abroad the hotel i situated on the beach food in restaurant fabulous maybe little pricey drinks definitely overpriced but as we only have 3 each per night not a problem fantastic walks on the beach roof top food available plenty seating of all types including subbed All stall great pleasant polite and professional '

'Perfect location for exploring the SW Coastal path and beaches of a beautiful part of Dorset. Sea view from a modern clean and comfortable room. Steps down to the beach - quiet compared to central Swanage. Easy access onto the downs and coastal path. Excellent breakfast. Really friendly helpful staff.'

'Prima verblijf in een gezellig drukke straat, waar je overigens geen last van hebt. De White Star Tavern serveert prima ontbijt en heerlijk bier en is een echte hot spot. De kamers zijn mooi ingericht met koffie apparaat, waterkoker en minibar. '

'We waren op doorreis van St. Austell naar Southampton. Parkeren kon voor de deur. De manager is zeer hartelijk en behulpzaam. Kamer was netjes. Douche en toilet op de gang, maar geen problem. Ontbijt was prima. Ik bevel dit Hotel dan ook ten zeerste aan.'

"Het hotel zag er leuk en modern uit en het publiek was gemêleerd qua leeftijd e.d., dus is fijn voor iedereen. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt was prima, niet uitzonderlijk, maar gewoon goed. Er was altijd plek om lekker te zitten. De bedden vonden we wat aan de zachte kant en het was redelijk warm in de kamer. Een raam openen gaf dan wel weer wat verkeersgeluiden, maar al met al prima voor een weekendje weg om als uitvalsbasis te fungeren om in de omgeving dingen te gaan bekijken. Een kwartier lopen naar het treinstation, maar neem vooral een Bolt taxi: amper duurder en veel sneller!!"
