B&B in New Haven

'Staying at Stone Haus was like visiting a distant relative. The owners were friendly and inviting. Their dog Mandy was also friendly. The place was filled with various antique pieces and paintings. It made us feel right at home. The breakfast we were served could have fed twice as many people. We did not use the hot tub though it was offered to us. Its location offered a quiet neighborhood and lovely scenery. It truly felt like home. the experience was lovely.'

'Rooms need access to ice, shelving and hooks for personal items in the bathroom.'

'The host thought of everything and room was a great location. We were able to walk to almost everything.'

'The host was very communicative with check-in instructions and her breakfast was absolutely amazing! The property is very clean. The reason I could not give a five star review is because the room description was not adequate to inform us that our bathroom, listed as a “private bathroom”, was actually located across the hall in the common area. We also had to bring a lawn chair in from outside in order to have two seats in our room. Other than that, the property is very nice and the host was very...

'This was a nice room with a comfy bed. Maybe bring your own pillow but otherwise comfortable. The breakfast was light but very good each day. Mike is a great host! Would come back again!'

'Host was very accommodating and responsive! We got there a little early and she let us throw out bags inside the door while they cleaned so they didn’t bake outside while we hit some of the wineries. Perfect location and comfy beds!'

'It was so comfortable and uniquely and beautifully decorated! There was so many awesome areas to explore inside and outside of the Grain Bins. Food provided for breakfast was fresh and hot. There was perfectly cooked bacon, scrambled eggs and really moist corn muffins with homemade mango preservers! We were welcomed with fresh, homemade plum bread. Instructions for everything available to utilize and operate were easy to understand. I can’t wait to go back and I will tell all my friends and...

'Very clean, great hosts. Just so you are aware, there are a lot of stairs to this property, like A LOT! We managed but thoroughly considered our needs before heading out each day…'

'Yes great communication'

'The property is nice and staff is great but in my opinion the property is way overpriced for what you receive and everything is an extra charge. I just expect more than a few sodas and other basic items included for $350 a night cabin. It was in wine country and they did not even give you a bottle of local wine!'
