'We loved our stay at this cottage on Kootenay Lake. It was the ideal location--right on the beach with spectacular views. Very close to Nelson for shopping, meals and activities. The cottage was the perfect accomodation for the two of us--cozy, neat, and clean. Nicely furnished, kitchen was well set up. There were two eating areas outside and a chiminea which we enjoyed for outside fires. The host was excellent. Denis made sure that we had everything we needed, provided restaurant suggestions...

'Ok it's not lakeside. You do need to cross a road. But with the minimal, quiet traffic there was absolutely no issue. Comfy bed, all the amenities. Showering with an open window to the super quiet road - exhilarating!'

'Despite the very average location with some nearby properties not being well kept, we were pleasantly surprised that Maria's property and the area around the Bungalows is very well developed, and very attractive. The view is terrific. Maria is a great hostess, met us upon arrival, checked on how we were enjoying our stay, and responded quickly to inquiries. Accommodations very clean and comfortable, and kitchen very well equipped. All in all a very pleasant stay.'

'This cabin is exactly as described, right on the edge of the village of Crawford Bay. The grounds and the cabin are very well-maintained and we loved our stay here. Joan was a very friendly, inviting host with plenty of good information to help us understand the area. We would highly recommend a stay at this cozy cabin.'

'Amazing hosts! The cabin is situated on a beautiful piece of property set among the idyllic countryside of Castlegar. An easy commute to town and beautiful attractions within the area. 'We love love loved our little weekend getaway at the Logden Lodge!! Truly a wonderful experience, the owners thought of everything even providing a flashlight and umbrella since we came during a rainy weekend. 'This was an amazing stay! We got the feeling of camping with the luxury of a comfortable bed, kitchen, fridge and warm showers! We caught a few white fish off the bank—enough for us to have supper and breakfast. Nice people, gorgeous view and good fishing.'

'We really enjoyed the property. There are short hikes around the property, that you can link up to longer hikes if you choose. About 20 minutes from Nelson. There are a few cabins on the property, but very private and not all too close to each other. It was very quiet and easy to get to more urban areas if you choose. 'The cabin is lovely. The kitchen is fantastic, well-equipped, and laid out beautifully. The Smeg fridge is lovely and retro and surprisingly holds a lot of food. The dishes/pottery are exceptional. 'Susanna was Great! She was great with communication. We asked if we could arrive early and she made it possible! She gave great tips on where to go in town for great food and drinks. The guest house is perfect! I loved the lighting and all the sweet pictures! The bed was so comfy! We are hikers, so make sure you check out Pulpit Rock. (bring poles, lots of stairs!) It's a great view of Nelson. We also enjoyed the Kokanee Lake hike. Thanks, Susanna, we will be back for sure!!'
