I never would have thought that I’d get to see the Nazca Lines, but today I was able to make that happen. I’ve adored them since I first saw them in an old National Geographic magazine as a child. It wasn’t even on my radar when we first came to Peru, but when my boyfriend and I figured out it wouldn’t be as expensive as we thought, we decided to spend our last week of travel making our way here. There are many theories as to how these works of art were created. I'm just glad we have airplanes that allow us to look down on them and appreciate all their hard work.
