Easily accessed by public transit if you've got the correct address. Make sure they know you're coming, as they were unaware I had made the reservation. If you can't find their phone #, try them on Facebook, or worst case scenario, go to to their Tile & Bathroom Shop, next to Sampath Bank... Don't...

'The Managers were absolutely wonderful. So friendly, caring, so thoughtful, and so polite. Rooms were enormous with Four Poster Bed. Surrounded by Nature. Morning call from Peacocks, sunset, evening muted Elephant calls. Food requests honoured and the cooking was magic. Breakfast FoC and as much as a Wrestler could possibly eat. 'Fantastische plek om even helemaal tot rust te komen, dichtbij Yala natoinal park. Zal zeker aanraden terug komen! Heerlijk zwembad, erg schoon en oog voor detail! Fantastich management!'

'The tents are a bit old, but OK. The camp looks super nice in the evening, the have petroleum lights everywhere and a fire. Staff always tries to help you and the food is really good. One big downside. There is a hotel next to the camp. During the safari they arranged for us we had a great guide and spotted two leopards! They play very loud music whenever they want. Our last night from 23:30 untill 05:00, so we hardly could sleep. I called the manager but he could not stop the music...'

'First of all, when I went to 'Palugaha pilgrim resort' it was locked. Even the mobile was not reachable. I had booked this thro' Expedia. Fortunately the auto rickshaw driver was knowledgeable about the place so took us to a nearby place. This did not have any name but there was someone to entertain us. He claimed that was the Palugaha resort & also said there was no intimation from Expedia reg my booking. However, he was kind enough to arrange the room for us. After that, everything was fine....

'Het wordt gerund door drie fijne mensen. Super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Er wordt nog volop verbeterd aan de accomodatie, maar het is nu al zeer de moeite waard. De kok is geweldig. De meest simpele gerechten zijn super smaakvol en beter dan de lokale restaurants! '

'We had a wonderfully relaxing few days. The staff were friendly and helpful and the meals were most enjoyable. Our room was immaculately clean and the water was hot. It was lovely to be able to sit out on a balcony and read. The manager arranged a great safari to Bandula National Park and provided us with a very tasty breakfast to take with us. On leaving, they were able to arrange transport to our next hotel. The recently extended and beautifully decorated hotel is located in a quiet area...

'Hi, the property was nice, but in the middle of the rice fields. They did not serve dinner, so you have to take a tuktuk to town. The room itself was large and beautiful, but the AC did not work and there was no fridge in the room.'
