Blokhutten in Nationaal Park Aowanda

'We booked this hotel using hotel.com and as a silver member we did not receive the extra’s mentioned. There was also a mentioning of an outdoor pool but the hotel does not have an outdoor pool, so this is also very misleading. The fine dining restaurant Ken Chan supposedly has 3 Michelin stars but it has none, the food was bad and we left te restaurant very disappointing.'

'Such a beautiful hotel, right next to a bus stop and a 24-hour Family Mart and 7/11. I stayed for 2 nights to go to Hehuanshan and I loved my stay. The room was huge, the bed really comfortable, and there was a garden tub overlooking the mountain in the bathroom, perfect for a warm bath after a day of hiking. The breakfast (included) was delicious, they offered free afternoon tea and muffins, and the dining room is truly beautiful, looking out into the garden. The staff were very kind and there...

'Viel tegen'

'This wonderfully charming hotel has way more to offer than simply a unique architecture. The dinner (which is included in the price) is top quality European fare that would be impressive even in the finest Taipei restaurants. The nightly 'concert' is a free curated music medley played over one of the best hi-fi audio systems ever made (the vintage Focus Utopia with beryllium speakers), and smaller systems with a free classical CD library are available in the larger rooms. This is not just a...

'Will come again'

'I stayed here with my family for 2 nights and really enjoyed all the amenities and the breakfast! Staff were all really nice, especially Esther at the front desk who helped answer my questions about Sun moon lake activities and helped us plan out our schedule! We will definitely be staying here again the next time we’re in Taiwan !'
