'This was an amazing location! So happy to be here especially for the price. We didn’t know we were getting a kitchen so that was a bonus. We thought we would get a small fridge and that’s it. We had a full fridge and full stove/oven. There was a separate bedroom plus a pull out sofa/bed. It was clean, for the most part. Some yucky dust on trim and I only noticed because I’m hyper vigilant. Most people wouldn’t notice. Plenty of shampoo and tp provided. But not enough towels. There were two of us...

'We almost didn't write a review because, selfishly, we wanted to keep this little gem a secret!
The Beachside Motel is a fantastic place to stay, a classic throwback to a simpler time while still being exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well maintained.
The location is hard to beat, just a block from the beach, and the atmosphere around the property is wonderful. The attached ice cream stand is a great bonus and adds to the charm.

'Did the location, it was an easy 5 star......right in the heart of the action, on the beach. You can't ask for better, especially at a mid week price. The front desk were good as well.
However, the room wasn't the room I booked, it was just a connecting piece of a larger room. The bathroom was filthy and the shower head was at the 5 foot level, and at 6'2, that made showering difficult. I can only speak to the room we got, but I'd rate our room at about 2.5.
The stairwell was disgusting...

'Excellent rate for a one bedroom suite located directly across from the beach at Okanagan Lake. Very friendly and helpful staff. Loved our room and all the amenities, had everything needed to prepare meals. Only thing we would suggest is that it would be nice if the resort had an ice machine. We will definitely stay there again.'
