Beneden staan allerlei snoepjes, thee,...

'Great little hotel in Nara. Room was clean and nice with a balcony that was private despite facing the street (high walls). Only stayed one night so didn’t use many amenities but there was an onsen for guests which was nice as well as a self serve kitchen (perhaps self serve outside of breakfast hours) that we used. More traditional style room but with western style bed. It is right beside the park and a 5-10 minute walk to kintetsu-Nara station. Very close to lots of food and shops, and of...

'Ryokan Hakuhou allows for a very traditional japanese experience. A traditional room, neatly kept and traditionals baths. Do note that the showers are not private but open like the baths. The hotel is in the middle of the city with all conventient places no more than 5 minutes walking.'

'Staff was great. The room was nice, very small. And the bathroom was seperated by a slide door. The heat was crazy in the bathroom. I'

'Prima hotel, alleen jammer dat sommige plafonds zo laag waren...'

'Perfect service with perfect rooms and great food, will definitely come back again'

'This was absolutely one of the best stays I’ve ever had in Japan or any place else! The mom and daughter duo who run it are so sweet, helpful and genuine, the room was terrific, and breakfast delicious. The location is right where you want to be, within walking distance of lots of Nara sights and great food. I STRONGLY recommend staying at Matsumae Ryokan if at all possible.'

'Superb character and excellent amenities in the room. I was only sorry I didn’t really feel like opening the sake provided. I didn’t realise that traditional Japanese breakfast came with the room and as this is not our thing at all, this was a bit awkward - I should have declined when asked what time we wanted breakfast but we went through with it out of a sense of politeness but did not each much which I think is worse so I apologise to the staff for any offense. They did ask our nationality as...
