'The hotel was next to Nara Station. The lounge was very nice and roomy. Breakfast was good and divers. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room had a decent size, but one of the (extra) beds was feeling like wood covered with a sheet, so that was quite unpleasant for one of us. The hotel has an Onsen which was simple but sufficient. The main shopping street was less then 10 minutes walk from the hotel. '

'The hotel is beautifully positioned adjacent to the park, so watching the deer while enjoying a drink is easy. The rooms are absolutely fine with plenty of space, good views and are very clean. My only disappointment is that they are trying too hard to be 'fancy'. The drinks menu at the bar area is very nice, but just far too select to the point of being minimal. No water in the room, you collect from a filter unit in the basement in a jug. There's a kettle but only matcha tea provided. ...

'Prettig nieuw hotel dat super centraal gelegen is (naast t station). Kamers zijn keurig en super schoon. Behulpzaam en vriendelijk personeel. Prima ontbijtbuffet met westerse en Japanse gerechten.'

'Ryokan Hakuhou allows for a very traditional japanese experience. A traditional room, neatly kept and traditionals baths. Do note that the showers are not private but open like the baths. The hotel is in the middle of the city with all conventient places no more than 5 minutes walking.'
