'Pet friendly hotel, although no specific amenities like a dog waste station outside. The location on the lake next to the Welcome Center can’t be beat. Plenty of parking. The rooms are a bit tired and need renovating. The leather banquette in my room had a tear in it. The outside of the windows were absolutely covered in cobwebs and dead flies. The toilet bowl was scratched. There was a microwave (nice!) but no refrigerator. Lovely staff and I didn’t hear a lot of noise through the walls. '

'I was very pleasantly surprised by how good this hotel was. I was greeted by courteous knowledgeable staff to check me in very quickly. I expected to be alone, and my son accompanied me and within minutes, I had a roll out bad delivered to my room, the amenities were thoroughly explained. The gym was very well stocked, and the breakfast was very good. There was fresh coffee 24/7 along with complementary cookies later on the room was impeccable. 'This is a simple, safe, convenient motel that's well -run and good value. It's not fancy, but it's nice and clean, the room has everything you need, including coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave,a good mattress and plenty of hot water, and the owners are really friendly and helpful. There are lots of places nearby to eat and shop and it's close to a lot of things. For the price, it's a great place to stay.
