'We enjoyed the deck at El Refugio. The beds were also comfortable. Nice location and view of Ensenada. 4 stars on cleanliness because there were a few really dirty spots (top of glass over stove and top of fridge) where a simple damp sponge would have done wonders. Hot water appliance also failed and was tricky to get hot water. But we were able to contact on-site person and owner and everything resolved to our satisfaction (I was able to take a hot shower). 'Everyone was cool but they took too long at check in. The place was hella convenient. Right smack in the middle of everything. Gates parking lot with security. The rooms were clean and the water pressure was fantastic. Walking around at night was terrific. The restaurant and shop owners were wonderful and we felt very safe. '
