The Space:
Hummingbird Ridge, a newly-renovated cabin perfect for your getaway! Step through the red door and enjoy the modern farmhouse decor, high ceilings (perfect for stargazing or bird watching), and fully stocked kitchen. Outside you’ll enjoy the large deck - perfect for grilling, new fire pit for roasting s’mores and the new hot tub (the perfect place to unwind after a long day). In addition to the new play area, our cabin comes stocked with indoor and outdoor games, so there’s a little something for everyone. The perfect getaway for hosting friends, family or small groups.

The cabin includes:
- Large living area with high ceilings and windows
- Wood stove for getting cozy
- 4 bedrooms (Bedroom 1 - 1 Double Bed, Bedrooms 2 & 3 - 2 Twin over Queen Bunks and Bedroom 4 - 2 Twins)
- Newly Renovated Full Bathroom and a half bath (upstairs)
- Fully stocked kitchen with all the comforts of home
- Electric heat & AC (to keep you comfortable no matter the weather!)
- Large deck for grilling and relaxing - updated with new string lighting
- Smart TV where you can quickly sign into your favorite streaming service
- WiFi for streaming movies and holding video calls

Outside you’ll find:
- Brand new hot tub with new string lighting!
- Brand new fire pit with plenty of seating for your group!
- Deck & propane grill
- New play area for the little ones
- Large yard for outdoor activities (we’ll provide the games)

Please note:
Our cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs, and walkways before each arrival, but because of the natural mountain setting, you may still notice leaves, pollen, or other outdoor elements—especially in certain seasons. Nature has a way of leaving its mark, no matter how often we tidy up.

Wi-Fi is available, though due to the remote location, service may occasionally be slower or spotty. We recommend downloading any essential content ahead of time, just in case.

We often take our three little kids and dog to the cabin with us, so we're very family and dog-friendly. Unfortunately we don't allow cats (we're allergic).

Beyond the cabin itself, we love how close we are to Bryce Resort (about a 20 minute drive away) and the George Washington and Jefferson National Forests (known for great hiking trails). The resort has tons of things to do – from skiing and snow tubing in the winter, to swimming, kayaking, and golfing in the summer. And of course, many great restaurants, bars, and shops as well. Plenty to keep everyone entertained!

This area of Virginia has so much to offer, and Hummingbird Ridge is the perfect place – whether you want to explore the area, or just relax in the hot tub and take in the sunsets. We’d love to host you!
