B&B in Mount Edgecombe

'We were fine, just plates for microwave too big, no knifes and forks, no spoons if needed in the room, freezer was full of ice blocked, safe key issue, toilet was leaking, had to put towels on floor otherwise all good for better future, management was helpful thank you '

'A small, intimate and immaculate establishment - like your own little villa! Not only was the breakfast (hot and cold) awesome, but it was the extra little touches that made an impression. For example: Although there was no restaurant for lunch & dinner, picnic tables, a microwave, plates, utensils and condiments were provided for guests' "bring-their-own-meal" use, little cookies daily with the in-room tea/coffee facilities, an honesty bar area, with an ice-maker, I could go on! The guest...

'Great New find. Loved this little haven literally 5 mins walk from the beach through what felt like a door to a secret garden. Thank you.'

'I stayed at Southey House for two nights and it was a very nice stay. The room was clean and spacious and had a refrigerator and water, coffee and tea. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was very good with eggs, bacon, oats, yogurt, fresh fruit, and more. The bed was very comfortable and had a nice and varm duvet. The room however was a bit cold the whole time (in beginning of July), so when staying in the room it was best to stay in bed. The guesthouse is located in a safe and there...

'Stay away from this property! I honestly don’t know how this lodge got its 4 stars. The way this lodge treats its guests is not worth even one star. We were given a shabby room, which clearly used to be a shed before. The parking space is so narrow that a taxi was asked to park within 30 cm from the door opening to our room, which implied that my family had to squeeze themselves through the opening. The management was immediately notified but ignored my wife’s request to move the taxi. Only when...

'Very central, close to shopping and restaurants'

'Comfortable. Clean. Quiet. Perfect'

'Prima locatie voor 1 of 2 nachten, echter voor alles (strand, restaurants) auto nodig, verblijf iets noordelijker is handiger.'

'Very good customer service and they were very patieng with me as i arrive late.i was really happy staying there and would very much recommend them to othets'

'Moyen pour tout '

'If you want a low-cost option for a short-stay this will do the trick. It is a nice neighborhood, but is fully in a residential neighborhood so you can't walk to anything though it feels safe enough to do so. We found the staff accommodating and helpful. The wifi connectivity was awful in our room and cut in and out constantly. We were on the main floor and could hear constant clicking (from the iron being used?) for quite a long time. The hot water was great, the pressure of the water was...

'The room we booked was not available. The room we were given was not suitable. Electric gate on arrival not opening. Breakfast limited and served on cold plates.'

'The staff at the Maison-H was fantastic!! Debbie, Goda, and others plus the two dogs made our two week stay a great time. We enjoyed the breakfast meals and time in the swimming pool. Walks to the nearby beach were always a good experience. Monkeys at times in the morning were a fun surprise...dogs loved the time to bark. Uber access to nearby locations allowed us to skip renting a vehicle. Great restaurants in 5minutes by Uber. Site generator provided no issues with the local...
