Blokhutten in Mount Eden

'We had an amazing time celebrating our anniversary with a fun road trip! We found the perfect spot to take a break at the Bourbon Barrel Cottages. The cottage was absolutely charming, and the location couldn’t have been better. It made our getaway truly special!'

'Well maintained historical farm cabin located in a beautiful country setting. Close to many local attractions. Comfortable and clean. Would highly recommend.'

'This is a VERY cute cabin, that looks and feels new! Plenty of parking was available, and the hot tub on the back deck was nice to have. The interior is nice, clean, and a very homey atmosphere. All appliances were in great condition, and there were plenty of pots & pans. However, our dissappointment started the moment we drove in:1) No check-in instructions received - had to call and get code to the door.2) Host totally ingnored our request to have heavy chairs moved downstairs, after previous...

'Captain's Cabin was the perfect place to stay for our three day Burbon Trail experience. The location is central and the cabin is very well equipped. It is also decorated with historical period pieces that take you back in time. The back porch is nice for an evening of playing cards and enjoying a bottle of wine. Tammy and Jan were most wonderful hosts. Tammy makes a delicious breakfast to begin your day too! I have already shared this spot with my family and friends for their future rentals.'

'This historic cabin is one of the best rentals ever. Agility is needed for the stairs to the second floor, but the stairs were easily managed by us -- who are people of a certain age. The bucolic setting makes this place a welcome respite from the fast-paced life beyond the gates.'

'Cabin was very welcoming. Very clean inside which is great! Except the front door was very dirty. Could be washed or repainted. Over all would most definitely stay again there. Very quiet and beautiful! Thanks for a wonderful night stay!'

'The property was secluded and quite but not too far from the expo center which is where the event we were traveling for was located. The short travel time between the stay and event was nice providing plenty of time to rest before heading back. The cabin had all we needed to prepare meals.'

'We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was well-appointed and clean. It’s in a good location which gave us easy access to Bardstown and distilleries, but also offered privacy and space to spread out. Our kids enjoyed the game room and had plenty of entertainment options. The hosts are kind, professional and offered great communication making our stay easy and seamless. We love the area and will be back.'
