« Kevin was great checked in on us several times! The cabin matched pictures to a T. It was super clean! Everything you needed was there! Located close to Acadia National Park!!! Close to get restaurants! Would recommend to anyone going to the Parks!!! »

« Our stay at Poet’s Cabin was perfect. It was far enough away from the business of Bar Harbor but close enough that we could drive over quickly and eat, shop, and do touristy things. The cabin was cozy and relaxing. So many great hiking trails around. The food recommendations from the owner were spot on! The wildlife around the cabin were fun to watch! We saw a lot of deer and wild turkeys. »

« The house was very good for multi generation family gathering. Good size living room and very spacious dining room and kitchen area. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. I chose this property for the lake views and the hot tub, and it was perfect for that! It was a cool, rainy weekend but we had plenty of space inside to gather. »

« We loved this charming cottage. It was quiet, cozy, comfortable and had everything we needed. The screened porch was an added bonus. The attention to detail in function, comfort, and decorating was noticeable and greatly appreciated! Sara was an excellent host, great communication and went above and beyond with providing local recommendations. « We loved our stay here. It was a small cottage but perfectly set up to comfortably accommodate my family of four. It was very peaceful and we loved the screened porch. We walked the impeccably maintained trail twice to Hadley Point Beach and enjoyed some ice cream from the freezer at the office. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was plenty of detergent for the laundry machines. It was close to a delicious lobster place that we ate at twice and several other places to eat, get coffee...

« Short trip to see the area, but would happily stay here again! Excellent communication, suggestions/info on things to do, super clean and cute with plenty of room for all of us. We were traveling with our daughter & her boyfriend, so having the bunk bed option was perfect.We enjoyed the bouy marked trail through the woods, the campfire, and surrounding area very much!! « Explore Acadia Cottages is THE place to stay when visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia! It far enough away, but minutes from everything. The most well appointed and beautifully decorated all wood cabin we’ve ever stayed in. All appliances and furnishings are top of the line. Would definitely go back! »
