This newly build, impeccable home is equip to be the perfect vacation home for all travelers. Nestled in woods in the town of Mount Desert, the Hide Away is only minutes from local swimming holes, canoe/kayak rentals, a boat launching, hiking, biking and site seeing. The Hide Away is only 20 minutes from the town of Bar Harbor, which is known as the Gateway to Acadia National Park where nature activities and Maine beaches are endless. In surrounding towns of MDI you will find umpteen restaurants and local shops. Pretty Marsh Hide Away is the perfect vacation tucked away from the hustle and bustle with something to enjoy for all ages with all the MDI has to offer.

Our experience with our stay was fantastic. The location was great and the house was very nice in a quiet location. Not too far from any of the site and only 10 or 15 minutes away from Cadillac Mountain which allowed us to get their for sunrise without a long drive. Our host was very responsive and great to work with. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you for a great stay!!!

Excellent stay! Beautiful house and property. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Clean and updated. The house has everything you could possibly need. I only wish that we had more time to enjoy all of the amenities. Great location to SW Harbor, Bar Harbor and ANP. Would definitely stay here again the next time we visit.

We stayed here for three weeks with our family of five. The house was clean and well cared for. The host was easy to communicate with and provided suggestions of activities in the area. This home is AMAZING. It has everything you need for a super comfortable stay. Roomy, great kitchen, comfy beds, laundry, etc. We loved the quiet area, and it was only 15-20 minutes away from any hiking we wanted to do. Loved Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Bria answered the one question we had immediately. Would recommend this home to anyone. This is the place you want to stay!

Great Cabin at Acadia Park

The cabin was amazing, it exceeded our expectations. Was very well equipped and the location was just perfect. Close to everything Acadia Park has to offer and at the same time secluded for resting. Will definitively recommend this place to friends and family. 5 stars

Simply fantastic!

A beautiful, literal cabin-in-the-woods that is a true home away from home. It a quiet and secluded part of Mt. Desert and exactly as described. The kitchen is WELL stocked for any level of cooking. Access is easy with a code. All rooms and beds were very comfortable including the futon downstairs. We felt like we were in our own home from the minute we walked in. Close to all the attractions. And it is very quiet and peaceful at night. Host is an excellent communicator and almost instantly.

Mount Desert Island Hideaway

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in the woods! The house is clean, modern, and well stocked with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The location is great because it's off the beaten path in a nice quiet area, but close enough to all the sites you would want to see on Mt. Desert Island with a short drive. Excellent place to stay if you like peace and quiet. Very comfortable with a great flat screen TV. Gas grill and fire pit were great for relaxing and cooking a burger after hiking all day. Also, loved having a washer and dryer available. Super easy check in and great communication from the host. We will certainly look stay here again on future trips to Mt. Desert Island!

Pretty Marsh, Peaceful Marsh

We had a lovely 3 days on the quiet side of the island. We hiked up Beech Mountain in the fog and kayaked around Mt. Desert Narrows. In the evening we enjoyed games and a fire in the firepit! The kitchen is well stocked for meal prep! But, Beals won our hearts for a water front lobster/mussel fest!

Pretty Marsh Hideaway

This is a great place to stay. It is new, clean, and well stocked. It is several miles from the activity of Bar Harbor and has beautiful woods around it. The host has provided many convenient things to make your stay comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.
