Le retrait de l'artiste CARRIAGE HOUSE est une Magnifiquement décorée d'une chambre Carriage House situé dans un cadre trÚs privé Boisé, à la fin d'un chemin privé. Les sentiers du parc national ACADIA et de l'océan sont à quelques pas de votre porte. Piscine d'eau douce du lac Echo est à seulement quelques minutes. Ce gßte de charme est à seulement un mile du village de Southwest Harbor et 13 miles de Bar Harbor. Le service Explorateur Bus Island gratuit est à moins de 10 minutes à pied.
L'espace de vie offre ouverts, skylighted plafonds cathédrale; cuisine entiÚrement équipée avec ßlot pour manger et salon avec foyer à gaz; un lit queen dans la chambre principale, et salle de bain avec douche.
AprÚs une journée de découverte de l'Acadie retour au Cottage pour griller ou vous détendre sous les étoiles de la A BOIS chiminea.

Beautiful carriage house in the woods, close to Bar Harbor (an easy 15-minute drive) but away from the crowds. The property was clean, well stocked (with all the kitchen utensils and supplies needed to dine in) and well-maintained. Having a brand new washer/dryer was helpful. The property owners provided fire starters for the outdoor fire pit, and plenty of suggestions for good hiking trails and dining options. Fresh flowers in each room was a nice touch.

Beautiful setting close to Acadia trails

Lovely setting- peaceful woods and you feel like you are in the canopy of trees. Located near southwest harbor on the “quiet side” of mount desert island. Highly recommend!

Perfect Carriage House

This cottage was so beautiful! It feels like you are in the deep woods, when you are just a couple of miles from the harbor. Great spot for seeing Acadia and all the other harbors around. We enjoyed having a fire in the fire pit. Cyd and Ken were perfect hosts. We hope to return someday! Vacationing from Alabama.

Charming home and location

We loved our stay at the Carriage House. Cyd and Ken, the hosts, live right next door and were welcoming and very fast with responding if we had any questions. The home is beautiful and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again if we ever get back to Acadia. We were also very happy to be staying on the quiet side of the island, so much more peaceful. It is also close to quite a few trails, lakes and mountains to enjoy. Highest recommendation, you won't be disappointed with your stay here.

Quiet Getaway

Very clean and well kept carriage home. Hosts were very friendly and had lots of good information and suggestions of things to do on the island. House is on the south western side of Mt. Desert away from Bar Harbor so it is a great spot for someone wanting to be away from the crowds but still close by to the national park. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful cottage- Great location- Perfect for all our vacation plans!

The cottage house is wonderful- super clean and cute, and completely equipped for all our needs. My husband and I were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary- and had a great time! We could come and go for each day's adventure in Acadia and the surrounding area. We'd love to come back in the changing seasons!

Amazing stay in Southwest Harbor!

We just spent two weeks at Cyd and Ken’s wonderful place! They went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. Their place is beautifully decorated (including fresh flowers) and warm and cozy. We enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen, fireplace, comfortable furnishings and great internet access. Trails into town and to Acadia are accessible from their property - quite a treat! They are very responsive to questions/requests. A perfect vacation (thanks Cyd and Ken)!

This was our 7th year returning to MDI but our 1st year staying at the Carriage House. Wonderful place. Quiet, peaceful, exceptionally clean, everything you could ask for. Ken and Cyd are wonderful hosts. We will be definitely returning to stay at the Carriage House.

Honeymoon Retreat

My new husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon as we explored Acadia National park and the Bar Harbor area. The cabin was absolutely perfect! It was very cozy and had everything we needed. Our first night we arrived late in the evening and it was pouring rain, but Cyd and Ken kept the light on for us and made sure we got settled in safely. They also gave us good directions and tips for touring Acadia NP. They were delightful hosts with a diamond of a cabin.

Best rental ever!

Comfortable, clean, and cozy. Cyd and Ken are the BEST people, and their carriage house was perfect for my wife and I. The bed was comfortable (we find this to be a common problem with some rentals), and the space was immaculate. We did a lot of hiking, and coming home to a fire (inside or out) was a great finish to our days. It’s truly nestled in the woods, and you can walk to trails. Very quiet at night
very peaceful. We will stay here again the next time we head north!

Awesome Carriage House

My husband and I chose the carriage house due to its proximity to Acadia. We were very pleased with the accommodations and amenities. We also met Cyd, who was so warm and welcoming. Cyd and Ken provided a list of off season restaurants, which was so helpful for the time of year we went. We would definitely stay here again if in the area!
