'Lovely cottage with good wheelchair access. The owners provided 2 raised toilet seats so didn't need to take our own ones. Friendly, helpful considerate owners. Lovely views from patio & conservatory. The beds were so comfortable that we have decided to buy new mattresses for our home.'

'The property was large and was a good base to use being about 20 minutes from a beach and about 10 minutes walk from a park with swings etc for the grandchildren. It was about 5 minutes drive from an Aldi and Lidl. '

'Lovely cottage but could have been a bit cleaner (had to wash mugs and plates before use and floor wasn't too clean). Lovely big comfy bed with fresh linen. Shower head would not stay up so had to be held all the time. No outside table and chairs. No towels but property manager brought them within 20 minutes of phoning. Not allowed to walk dogs on site but nowhere else to take them as no paths at side of road. Lovely setting though.'

'The location is superb right on the water. The house is lovely and had everything we needed! We had a slight issue gaining access, but the host was very responsive and helpful, so it was resolved immediately. Would definitely recommend and stay again, our toddler didn't want to leave!'

'Lovely house, everything you needed was there. Great base for exploring the area. There was work being done on a new station but it didn’t influence our sleep or anything. Son was very excited about the trains passing by. Beach a short drive away or a walk. Great chip shop/ cafe and shop at the beachfront nearby. Host very helpful, we would recommend to friends. Beautiful decor, plenty of space and great for a family stay.'

'Dove Cottage was a great find. Was looking for dog friendly accommodation close by to Druridge Bay for a race that weekend and this was perfect. Plenty of parking, next to The Railway Inn pub, lovely camping site and the cottage was lovely. Very spacious, nicely decorated and the facilities that were provided were much more than expected. Great enclosed private patio area to the rear of the cottage and garden which is perfect for people and dogs! The pub does a fantastic Sunday lunch which they...

'Fantastic little cottage in Amble. Feels very homely and welcoming. Fantastic location. The welcome gifts were a nice little touch. The only draw back is parking. On busier days it wasn't always possible to park directly by the house but it wasn't a major issue.'

'Had a lovely stay here for a couple of nights. The location is ideal, really close to the high street with shops, cafes and pubs. The welcome basket and milk in the fridge is a nice touch. We will definitely stay again and have recommended to friends.'
