'We had room 20 it was clean cosy and had a working tv and remote . There was plenty of coffee tea and milk. Bed was comfy and we were given fresh towels . Shower was nice and hot . Absolutely brilliant for a budget hotel . I would stay again . '

'A thoroughly pleasant stay at a lovely guest house. From arrival I was met by the owner who was pleasant, friendly and made me feel very welcome. The room was very clean, tidy and comfortable. The bed was also nice and comfy too. I undertook 'The Lap' 47 mile ultra marathon, so when I came back to the room, I really needed a nice bed and this one was lovely. 'Stayed here new year and new year day with my husband and this was fine hotel, you get what you pay for, how can anyone complain is beyond me for 13 pounds each a night, you can’t camp in your own tent for that, bedding was fresh and fresh towels, basic yes but who cares for that price, staff was polite and friendly, never bother you in the slightest, we enjoyed and will go back too'

'Hotel.com didn't process booking correctly luckily Richard the owner phoned me and informed me and sorted it out over phone so our weekend wasn't ruined. If your expecting the Ritz go somewhere else if you want cheap clean and comfort go to the aysgarth hotel. Location is perfect 2 minute walk to beach or central pier. Owners couldn't do enough for you will definitely go back there again.'

For example l, I went to the Blackpool Tower Circus yesterday, had a fantastic couple of hours there and during the interval got chatting to a couple in front of me and they didn't realise that the Circus ring is directly centred under the Tower itself. 'Perfect location for travelling around the lake and for going out in the local area. Delicious and ample breakfast, tailored to your needs with plenty of tasty options which set us up right for a long walk. Super comfy bed, warm, little nice things like milk and good advice on walks and local sights. They also gave us biscuits to keep us trucking on our walk on our way out the door. '
