'Girdwood is a great location for an Alaska vacation. We spent almost a week here and did so much great stuff in the area. This house was great for our family. Vacasa operates this rental and they're easy to communicate with. I even accidentally locked the key to the house inside and when I called, they gave me the code to a backup key box to get us access almost immediately. There are a bunch of houses clustered together, which isn't ideal, but the neighbors are very friendly. The only negative...

'It’s perfect for skiers! Although we didn’t go to ski, we enjoyed the area and the chalet! I wish the weather would’ve cooperated, but we were able to enjoy a relaxing getaway! '

'Had a VRBO in Homer Ak for fishing there. Came back closer to Anchorage . To go fishing and glacier sight seeing .'

'We had a great stay a Jeremy’s mountain. My whole family of 20 enjoyed the house and location. It is nicely located in Girdwood with access to many hikes. 40 minutes to anchorage and good access to the Kenai Peninsula. '

'It was a quick trip but we enjoyed our stay. The main beds are upstairs in the open loft (there is no separation between the “bedroom” and the “office”) and the stairs are quite steep so you always want to have a hand for the railing. The owners live next door and were very helpful and friendly!'
