'End of January we stayed in Hotel Le Val Thorens. Perfect hotel, young, nice, friendly and active personnel working at various locations in the hotel (restaurant, reception, lounge bar, etc). Location is excellent in VT, not only to enter the slopes for skiing or snowboarding, but also to go for a drink or meal in the evening. Rooms are well equipped, clean and quiet. It is not the cheapest solution in VT, but in view of the price/service ratio, it was worthwhile for us. One point of attention...

'val thorens is super voor skiërs, wel heel hoog gelegen, sommige mensen hebben daar last van en Pashmina is zeer goed gelegen, kamers heel mooi, restauratie is iets minder geslaagd'

'J’ai passé 3 jours à l’hôtel Alpeen et ce fut une excellente expérience. L’accueil était chaleureux, le personnel attentionné et toujours disponible. La chambre était très propre, confortable et bien aménagée, avec une belle vue sur les montagnes. L’hôtel est bien situé, au calme, tout en étant proche des sentiers et des activités proposées dans la station. Je recommande vivement cet établissement pour un séjour été comme hiver à la montagne ! Je reviendrai avec plaisir !'

'J ai ete tres decue par cet hebergement, que je deconseille fortement ( et c est rare que je fasse des commentaires negatifs). Arrivee a 18h, pas de reception, cle dans une boite sur porte abimee dans couloir triste. Attention : pas de draps ni serviette ni torchon, ni kit vaiselle...rien...j ai du me debrouiller pour louer des draps en me deplacant chez un prestataire exterieur..../ l appart etait en tres mauvais etat, mal / pas nettoyé, il manquait une facade de meuble de cuisine, pas de lampe...

'Apartamento para dormir una persona e incomodo incluso para uno, tetris para dormir y camas plegables incomodas, dice para 4 y para esto no puedes ni moverte. 20m2 como mucho.'

'Disappointing I would not return to this apartment. It was too small, the diswasher was broken, the equipment in the kitchen was old and some bits rusty. The sofa bed was torn, very uncomfortable and squeeky. The bathroom lights stopped working, the bathroom cupboard door was broken, the electric socket did not work and the sink was stained and dirty. We could not open the ski door locker so had to bring ski boots and ski's into the apartment. The pillows were not useable they were dirty...

'Very close to lift with great dining option nearby. Breakfast was great! Ski rental site on-site and they store your stuff for you so just drop skis at door. We thoroughly enjoyed hot tub/sauna/steam room. Would definitely stay there again. Unfortunately, the two best rooms with balcony I was told were smaller. We had 3 in each room so opted for 2 biggest. It is a very short walk to lift, don’t think there is a closer hotel in 1850. '

'Belle surprise en rentrant dans l'établissement, la décoration est top , c'est très beau et de très bon goût. La chambre et salle de bain spacieuses. Le wifi fonctionne bain et pour le petit déjeuner Farah est très sympathique.'

'Hotel muito bonito, bem temático. Quarto lindo, espaçoso, com banheira e varanda. Equipe extremamente educada. Café da manhã é 10/10, um dos melhores que já provamos na França. Tem espaço para guardar o equipamento de esqui, tipo um vestiário. O ponto negativo é a localização, um pouco afastado da região das lojas e restaurantes, não dá pra fazer tudo à pé.'

'Very nice place to stay. Original a 17e century building and rebuilt 1999. Good breakfast. We stayed at the top floor in the parachute. What has a low ceiling with wooden logs. I can tell you these are very hard….. Nice thing is also you have to change your shoes an get a pair of slippers.'
