'We arrived one day early. My mistake because I didn't check the dates. Monicah was at the house, contacted the owner and told us we could stay. Nothing was to much or a problem for them. The house was very clean, the rooms all had airco, the garden was well kept and the private pool was always clean. 'Our stay at Katarina's house was lovely. Katarina is very good at communicating details and the house manager Hamadi was also very helpful. The house is beautifully designed and extremely unique, although it is in need of some updating such as resurfacing the pool and mending concrete cracking. 'I rented two properties on Tamani compound adjacent to each other for a 'round' birthday celebration. The location on Galu Beach (an old favourite) is amazing, with stunning views across the pool to the palm-lined white sand and azure sea. 'Awesome stay.the house was well-equipped . Has air conditioned bedrooms with full mosquito nets around the beds, on demand heated showers etc. Hotel-like amenities but a Home-like environment. Clean well kept pool. The highlight of our stay was the food. You can get 3 meals/day cooked per your liking for a fee which is a big steal compared to eating out. My family enjoyed all the meals Martha made. The mahamri with ukwaju sauce, pilau, fish, viazi karai etc. I would go back just for the food....

'The location is pretty good, the way to the ocean is close, but pretty rough. A good store is not within walking distance, but a 3 minute tuk-tuk ride away. The apartment is ok, a bit outdated, but roomy. The pool is spacious, looks outdated but clean, the good part is that there are usually not many people there. The guards at the property are very friendly.'
