'Quiet and serene location. A stroll on the beach was very therapeutic. The team at the Villa reached out to us while we were still enroute, very reassuring indeed. The restaurant with in the premises was responsive to our requests. The stay was enjoyable and the location very convenient for us.'

'Nyumba Sara was a wonderful place to enjoy our holiday. A beautiful, elegant home with a lovely terrace to capture the seabreeze, relaxing view of the ocean from the upstairs bedrooms, and a one minute walk to the beach. 'I rented two properties on Tamani compound adjacent to each other for a 'round' birthday celebration. The location on Galu Beach (an old favourite) is amazing, with stunning views across the pool to the palm-lined white sand and azure sea. 'Our stay at Katarina's house was lovely. Katarina is very good at communicating details and the house manager Hamadi was also very helpful. The house is beautifully designed and extremely unique, although it is in need of some updating such as resurfacing the pool and mending concrete cracking. We had some issues with the electricity going out but that is common in Kenya and the house manager was quick to address the issues. We hired the cook George for the week and he was great. 'We arrived one day early. My mistake because I didn't check the dates. Monicah was at the house, contacted the owner and told us we could stay. Nothing was to much or a problem for them. The house was very clean, the rooms all had airco, the garden was well kept and the private pool was always clean. 'The house is very nice, old and stylish and so is the garden with plants and trees that are characteristic of the Kenya coast. I know that the owner wants to build a pool this spring, which would make the house perfect during the hot and humid days of the hotter season. More electric fans in the house would help to sleep when there is a little breeze in that area.
