'Wow what a find! This property is wonderful, it really is a bargain price compared to others, perfect location with so much to do in the surrounding areas. The lodge is cleaned to the highest of standards and so homely and comfortable. It had everything we needed. Prior to arrival Louise was great with her communication and on arrival everything was perfect and the guest book was so useful with loads of suggestions for things to do. We had the most wonderful holiday, definitely booking again.'

'There were issues with obtaining the checkin details in a timely manner. Property only superficially clean set in a not very pleasant location with an appalling access road. The boiler was extremely smelly and there were no instructions for the heating. Towels were totally inadequate in this day and age.'

'A fabulous house for a truly lovely break away. Lovey spacious accommodation, done to a very high standard. Everything we needed was there. I would highly recommend it and we hope to go back. Do try to arrive in daylight hours as it is not the easiest to navigate in the dark.'

'Lazydays is a really lovely cottage down a side street (parking outside no problems at all). It's a minutes walk to the main street with lots of choices to eat and some nice walks. Great communication from the owner. Definitely recommended !'

'The place is super quaint and clean. Hosts very responsive and helpful. Not a lot in town to eat, the one pub was not recommended, so be sure to plan meals accordingly. Easy drive to train station. Parking was limited and a bit far away.'

'The accommodation was as described and a very comfortable stay, despite the typical Scottish weather. If you are looking just for somewhere to lay your head and chill this is ideal! There isn’t anything on the site to do, the restaurant and bar was a bit of a let down to the waiting time and staffing issues'

'Great location, friendly hosts, clean and spacious. We had a wonderful stay in this quiet, secluded farm cottage. Even though we were only 30minutes from Dumfries, it felt like we were deep in the country. Highly recommended for a family stay.'

'We had a wonderful stay here. Sushi was a great host. We had a bit of trouble with the lock box, but she was quick to assist. Being able to do laundry was amazing! A little planning is required though as a load took about 4 hours to wash and dry!!!! The breakfast items were very much appreciated!!! I would absolutely stay here again.'

'We enjoyed our stay in the house.Next to a bowling green and the gokf course and with a wonderful back garden. The house was huge but had a lovely feeling. It had everything you could possibly need, altho one or two more sharp knives would be a bonus. Plenty to do in the area and lovely home to return to at night'
