'It is in a good location. The staff were very welcoming and the check-in was done smoothly. The breakfast was ok, considering it was free due to us staying there. The room could have been a bit more clean, especially the refrigerator, and oven. The sofa was a bit worn out, so maybe updated furniture would help. Overall, the price, the location, and the staff is what made our stay a pleasant experience.'

'It was clean but could benefit with providing paper towels and hand soap. There seemed to have been repairs going on throughout the apt with wiring and floor trim and we had a few waterbugs come in, not a deal breaker since we are on an island and it comes with the territory but if they seal off those things it would help'

'Perfect stay! Convenient for those on the prowl for a night life. Right next to La Placita. We didn’t have any issues sleeping. It felt very sound proof. Staff was excellent and very helpful. Parking could be a bit tough but doable, just got to make your rounds around the neighborhood and you’ll find something.'

'The room was well taken care of in a decent location, the on site parking was super convenient as well! My favorite part of the stay was the staff members, they were so incredibly nice and helpful. Any interaction we had, they were eager to help and give recommendations on things to do around the area! I also loved that they had beach necessities like towels and lotions to borrow! Next visit I would absolutely stay at this property again!'

'They are doing a lot of renovations. Many rooms are empty, with furniture piled up in the closets. Our room was adequate, but the curtains did not gully close because the handles were broken, the switch to one bedside lamp was broken and hanging loose, the bathroom sink stopper was not attached to the pull rod. So, lots of little things that need repair. Overall, it was comfortable , just not maintained well'

'Didn’t get in the pool or Jacuzzi. The front desk workers were very helpful. If you arrive early before your check in time don’t expect to get a room until original time. You can drop your luggage at the hotel and go to the beach or whatever until your room is ready. They do have lounge chairs, umbrellas at the beach.
The beds were hard and our bathroom smelled like sewerage. Not sure what it was or what was happening. Did see some workers doing something but whatever it was it didn’t fix the...

'Friendly, accommodating staff, combined with a clean, spacious room make this a no-brainer when choosing a hotel in the middle of Old San Juan. Close to shops and restaurants, but a bit of a pain to drive to during the day.
If you’re looking for a no-frills hotel in the middle of the action, go for Hotel Milano. It’ll probably be even better once the renovations are complete. '
