"Costa Del Mar" is located on the 4th floor (multiple elevators) of Majestic Sun in the exclusive community of Seascape in Miramar Beach and is the perfect choice for your family vacation! This one-bedroom condo offers lovely, unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico. The resort offers guests heated indoor/outdoor pools, 2 spas, a large fitness center, 2,000 square feet of beachfront access just across the street, an 18-hole championship golf course, tennis/pickleball courts, nature trail, freshwater lakes (fishing permitted), a beachside bar and grill, and so much more.

ACCOMODATIONS:
The property that we call Costa del Mar is a lovely one bedroom, 1 ½ bathroom 4th floor condo that features 940 sq ft of living space and includes a king bed master, a queen sofa bed in the living room, and one set of twin bunk beds flush with the hall. This allows for six guests to be accommodated comfortably and comes complete with a full-size kitchen, washer/dryer, and a private, furnished balcony offering gulf front views of the sugary white sand beaches. Enjoy the complimentary high-speed internet access, premium cable channels, and DVD player.

Majestic Sun is smoke-free, with smoking and chewing tobacco prohibited in all common areas, including the garage, walkways, pools, spa, pool decks, and balconies.

AMENITIES AND POOL
The resort offers guests heated indoor/outdoor pools, 2 spas, a large fitness center, an 18-hole championship golf course, tennis/pickleball courts, nature trail, freshwater lakes (fishing permitted), a beachside bar and grill, and so much more.

BEACH
With easy beach access, you can simply stroll across the street to the beach and lounge on the sugar white sands.

SHOPPING AND DINING - With lots of shopping nearby, you'll have plenty of opportunities to find that perfect souvenir, gift, or a way to spend time away from the beach. The condo is a short drive to the Grand Boulevard, Baytowne Wharf, or Silver Sands Premium Outlet mall. You will have no problem finding that special gift with many nationwide brand names, movie theaters, and dining options. Everything you need is nearby, and Destin offers so many different recreational activities that there is something for everyone in the family.

When the hunger bug strikes no need to worry, Miramar Beach is full of fabulous restaurants, including Surf Hut, Crab Trap, Capt. Dave’s, Whale’s Tail, and Pompano Joe’s, to name a few.

Great location and great view

Our stay was great. The only thing that was a negative for us was the smell around the lower part of the building, like a really strong mold smell around the underbuilding garage. And no place to rinse your feet late in the evening if you walk on the beach as they lock up the area by the pool. Other than that it was great and we enjoyed our stay.

Elevators never worked, and when they were working, they would stop with people stuck on them for 30+ minutes. Appliances way out of date, and didn't work very well.

The only good things are location and the view from balcony. Besides clean towels and bed sheets, it needs DEEP cleaning. Air in the apartment was musky/moldy and some our faces were swollen due to allergic reaction. Sofa sleepers mattress had brown stains all around. The elevators in the building breaks down frequently (had only one working, long wait line). All appliances and pots pans are very old and stained.

Great property, outdated room.

Majestic Sun was amazing. The pools were big and clean, it wasn’t overly crowded even on Memorial Day. Right across the road from the ocean, road wasn’t overly busy and neither was the beach. Condo is located with 10 miles of anywhere you would want to go in Destin and the surrounding area. As far as the unit, it was probably our least favorite room we have ever stayed in. All furniture and appliances are VERY outdated. With how cheap you can get items like this on sale often, there’s no reason not to have smart tv’s and k-cup style coffee pots. Larger appliances were very outdated as well. The stools were old and one of them the leather was peeling off onto the floor and our clothing. Large bed/pillows in the bedroom were very uncomfortable and we left with very stiff necks and backs. Would give it a 5/5 if the room was updated with newer furniture and appliances.

nice and cozy

My family stayed there for spring break 2024. overall the property is really nice. its right on the beach with anything you need pretty close by. my kids really loved the swimming pool. the place does need to be updated with new paint and appliances but other than that it was jus fine for us. when we arrived it was very clean and organized. the beds were comfy and clean. no bugs, critters, or rodents anywhere. the only thing i didnt like is it right next to the elevator. although it was very convenient for us with little kids, the bedroom window is right there and you hear everything and everyone but it was spring break and everyone is on vacation so it was a little expected. hopefully the place will be empty next year so me and my family can make more memories there. 5 stars from us.

Unit needs updates

There were a few things that were a little outdated in our unit. All appliances with exception of the range hood microwave need replacing, the tub/shower faucet in the master bath leaks constantly, paint on all the walls has streaks all in it, furniture in the living room is not comfortable at all. It just seems a lot of items are very dated in the unit compared to other units in the same building.

Nice condo with need of renovations

The condo was located conveniently within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and other amenities. Our family of four had everything we needed while staying here. Our two boys, ages 2 and 4 loved sleeping in the bunk beds and waking up each morning to eat their breakfast on the balcony while watching the ocean. Pros: convenience, beach front room, comfortable king size bed, nice indoor and outdoor pool, ice cream shop located within building, fully stocked kitchen supplies Cons: this condo needs renovations terribly. The furniture in the living and dining area is extremely old and worn. The legs on the dining chairs are wobbly and there are stains on the pillows and bar stool cushions. The balcony only has two chairs to sit in and needs more seating options. The bathtub in the master bathroom leaks continuously and there are water stains in the bathrooms. Would recommend curtains in master bedroom to block light from outside hallway. We really did enjoy our stay, but before booking and paying this price would like to see renovations before staying again.

Good place, could be great with a few upgrades.

We had a fantastic time at Majestic Sun. The pools and hot tubs were fantastic (along with the beach)! The condo could use some upgrades, but we won’t count off points for aesthetics. What we do suggest is that hooks be installed in the bathrooms, hallway, and outdoor balcony to hang towels, swimsuits, etc. There needs to be a pizza cutter or scissors in the kitchen along with a pizza baking pan and the trays under the stove burners need replaced. And the toaster only toasts on one side. The condo was clean, had hot water and cold AC and was a great place for us. I wouldn’t bet on using the couch bed, but the bunks were great for out 9 y/o and the master bed was comfy and soft. I loved having a washer/dryer so I could freshen up towels and not pack as much. Great place and would stay again.

Pros: - Directly across the street from beach - Comfortable bed (the picture in the listing shows a dip in the bed, which has been fixed) - Provides starter kit of toilet paper, dish soap, sponge, paper towels, dishwasher pods, and coffee (which we used them all) - The ice maker works and the ice doesn't taste bad like some Florida water - Working washer and dryer - Very nice pool areas and gym - Plenty of bath towels - Cannot hear the neighboring condos except for water draining (shower/toilet) - There was a table fan left by someone that we used for noise while sleeping Cons: -The tub faucet leaks constantly -The bedroom window is right in the open elevator lobby and the lights shine in (we put up a dark blanket to block light thanks to another reviewer's suggestion) -The hallway is very noisy with people running, talking and you can hear the elevator dings constantly if you are in the bedroom -The kitchen overhead light was intermittent. May have a bad ballast - The condo needs updating as the lamp shades were cracked, one table chair leg was ready to break and rust on the refrigerator - Washer tub is small in case you have a lot of laundry to do - Loved sitting on the balcony but the table and chairs were high and if you eat dinner out there the table is about at the height of your knees Tip: bring all your own beach chairs umbrella or rent for $30 for half day on the beach All in all it was a clean condo and great location.

Excellent Family Vacation Stay!

This condo was perfect for my family of 4 (with room for more, we just didn't need it). We went with the intention to be at the beach and the pool with the kids - this property did not disappoint! It was an excellent location. The beach is across the street! It was within walking distance to several restaurants. The kitchen was perfect and under-utilized by us, but we figured out how we would do things differently next time. The primary bed was incredibly comfortable. We used the washer and dryer every day, so that was very convenient. The pool at this property was incredible - large, spaced out, 2 different hot tubs. My only complaint was the busy road between the condo and the beach, but that is obviously unavoidable and no fault of the property owners. We spent tons of time on the deck watching the water, the people, the sunrise and sunset, and the dolphins! There was a grocery store down the street as well as an outlet mall (which we utilized on a day when the weather was cooler). We will definitely be staying here again in the future and highly recommend this property for families.

Yearly Miramar stay

Location was Great for us and the view was satisfying. Kids loved the pool & hot tub on the property. We felt the condo could have been cleaned better. We found numerous hairs still in tubs and in the bathrooms overall. The vacuum filter smelt awful when used, more likely needed cleaned. The laundry door kept falling off the track and the dishwasher tracks need to be repaired as well. The king size bed is very uncomfortable but I think I finally figured out that the frame was broken underneath. Wish there were some plastic wear for kids and possibly a few family games. The room is convenient to the elevator but is rather noisy in the morning and evening when trying to sleep. Convenient location to the trash shoot as well. Overall, we had fun!

Location was very important to us because we either like to be on the beach or super close to it.

The view from this property is one of the best views we have had so far which was a must for us. We aren’t too picky about the inside as long as it is clean. We like to be walking distance to the beach and have view of the beach from our condo so if you are the same I definitely recommend this condo.

Location!

Loved the location! Close to restaurants and beach rentals. Really handy having a souvenir/shirt store located below. The view was fantastic. We had morning coffee out there each day. I parked my car and never drove the entire time. It could use updated furniture, but it worked great for our group. Would definitely stay here again.
