For context, we've stayed in numerous VRBO cabins over the years, including North Georgia, Tennessee and North Carolina and had great experiences. First, the cabin itself had a great floorplan/layout and kitchen supplies were well stocked. The view was also excellent. However, similar to previous reviews there were cleanliness issues. Specifically, the rugs in the bathrooms were soiled and in need of serious cleaning. The chairs in the basement by the fireplace area had large stains as well and were dirty--we avoided sitting on them due to this. In addition, the bunk bed was not made when we arrived and had to find sheets for our son. The outside fireplace did not work/would never turn on, despite following the directions provided. The inside living room fireplace we had to light manually each time, as the wall switch was not working. What was most disappointing is this host does not provide any type of local TV channels--you must come with your own streaming accounts that have local TV included. While we have some streaming services, our local TV at home is via cable. As a result, we could not access the football games broadcast on the major networks. Of all the cabins/homes we stayed in this was the first that did not provide access to TV.What was most disappointing is when we contacted the host to assist with resolving the fireplace issues and determine what other options we had to watch network television, they never responded to us.

It is a beautiful home with picturesque views. However, I have to be honest in my review as I use these reviews and appreciate when they are honest. The cabin had every amenity we needed and my children (ages 15, 13 and 10) enjoyed the pool table, ping pong table, shuffleboard and dart board immensely. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The bedrooms and bathrooms were large and spacious. The issues we had with the cabin were cleanliness. The floors were not well cleaned, but the biggest issue we had were stains on the linens for the twin bunkbeds. I contacted management and they responded immediately to resolve the issue, but also the second set of linens they brought again had stains. It was very upsetting that it happened not once, but twice. The door handle also fell off the fridge, the basement beverage fridge does not cool all the way to the setting, one of the hair dryers did not work and the sliding screen doors don't move easily. We also only had one working dart for the dartboard upon arrival. Again, we contacted management and they brought us a new set (which we put back in the box and in the cupboard for the next guest instead of leaving them outside). It was also really difficult to enjoy a fire in the fire pit. The pit is very deep and the adirondack chairs sit so low you cannot see the fire. Again, the management co. was always very responsive and did resolve all of our issues. However, it did dampen our vacation to have all these issues.

Perfect for 6 adults

Cabin was exactly as described. Perfect for 3 couples. Plenty of room to spread out and have privacy. This is a rental company. Benefit is exceptionally clean, timely assistance with minor issues (hot tub), and all furnishings were in excellent condition. What you don’t get is any extras. You need to bring everything: toilet paper, shampoo, soap, salt & pepper, coffee…. There is nothing there. Loved the separate thermostats on each floor. Also loved the gas for ease of turning on fireplaces. Beds were comfy. Plenty of hot water. Very safe neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again. each floor

Great cabin

The cabin was beautiful inside and out. The view was great and the decks were awesome as well. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a meal and we used the grill on the deck. Good roads and easy to find. Overall I give this rental a five plus. I left a gift of a carpenter bee house because we noticed a few around the deck and I didn’t see a bee house catcher.

Beautiful Property

Property was well laid out on every level. Privacy on each floor. Property was very modern and updated. The views from the balconies and the pictures on the website were as advertised. The overall reservation from check in to check out was seamless. The location was convenient to restaurants and grocery stores if needed. This is a property that we will be returning to in the future. Thank you Escape to Blue Ridge for a wonderful Thanksgiving week.
