It started Great! My flight was delayed and I couldn’t get there to check in until almost 1am and 12 is there cutoff. I had called to let them know and the woman asked me a couple questions, acted like I was wasting her time and put me on hold. She came back on and told me no problem, I thanked her.
I got there to check in about 1am and I got upgraded to a junior suite! Score! I started thanking the lady who was helping me and saying I thought for a minute I wouldn’t even be able to check in and how much of a surprise it was to now get an upgrade on top of it and what I got back was an empty stare, a look of contempt, and absolutely no words. Handed me my key cards and turned and walked away. Confused I walked to the elevators to find my room and I never should have left it once I got there. Two days dealing with the absolute rudest staff of people I have ever encountered in my life. Multiplied by 10. The cashier, the front desk, the guest services on the phone, security guards. I thought I was on another planet by the time I left there. I don’t have the space to even begin to give examples, it honestly felt like it wasn’t even real. The. Place is beautiful, the staff is unbearable. I should mention I dumped about 7k into their machines in 2 nights as well. I don’t know how I could ever walk through the doors of that place again. I wish I had the time and space for every specific thing but it’s probably better off because nobody would believe it. What a joke.
