'We stayed on a HOT day, about 92 degrees. Ac was great, and the room was fantastic: Clean, Modern, warm wood, and everything worked! Nice mattress, linens, and the shades all worked excellent! Ok, the only small thing that would improve the place is to get rid of the PFAS cookware that is very scratched and replace it with cast iron or just plain stainless steel. 'Our stay at Dean & Kari's cabin in Walhonding was so wonderful! It was a truly serene escape in the Ohio countryside. While it was set in a quiet, rural area, it was a convenient 15-minute drive from the town of Mount Vernon where we could buy groceries and go out to dinner. 'GPS didn't quite get us there but they provided detailed instructions that got us to the A frame without issues. The place was clean and we had a bunch of nice surprises in the fridge waiting for us. The muffins were amazing! The pond had canoes and paddleboats to use which was awesome and relaxing. The hosts were responsive and checked in to see if we needed anything. The only minor things were the shower head could be replaced and the wifi speed was very slow. 'I have stayed at MANY rental properties and this was the nicest by far. It was spotless on check-in. Amenities abound. The furniture is VERY comfortable - none of the prefab dorm furniture common in so many rentals these days. Thanks so much for a terrific, rejuvenating stay. I'll be back!'
