'Ideal for both fly fishing and family gatherings with friends. I can't image a better setting. Great house and outdoor socializing area. We found fish in-spite of less than ideal fishing weather. Great place to get reacquainted with many of our best friends who live in the area. We were able to get away from our hectic daily routines without have to back-pack into the deep wilderness. We expect to be back!'

'Bear’s Den is a great getaway home tucked away in the woods with a screened in patio that is great for peace and quiet, bird watching, or sipping your morning coffee. Bill and Doris showed great hospitality with communicating after booking, prior to our trip and the day we arrived. The house was very clean and supplied with lots of needed amenities and beds very comfortable. The game room was enjoyable with pool table. 'This may have been one of my favorite homes to stay in the Juniata College area! We were visiting our son for Easter from Philadelphia. The house is clean, kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, glasses etc. The game room was fun. Good for young kids & older more adult kids. Location was great for our dog walks. Communication was quick with the owner or agency. Check in and out procedures were very easy & simple. Will definitely try to stay here again!! Thank you Aunt Susie!!'
