'Ich habe selten in so einem einzigartigen und coolen Zimmer geschlafen, es war perfekt. Die Gastgeberin war ausgesprochen freundlich, wirklich toll. Ich hatte sogar eine kleine Kaffeemaschine auf dem Zimmer und Milch im Kühlschrank. Diese Unterkunft ist absolut empfehlenswert.'

'We really loved the stay in Highlander Cottages. There are more cottages at this site, but it felt like we were staying alone in the forest. Although wooden constructions the quality was high, a kitchen block, small living room, dining table, comfortable beds fireplace and modern bath room. We would definitely return. '

'The property was very clean and its obvious the owners are upgrading it slowly. The dark cabinetry really let's the place down and could easily be upgraded by removing the decorative moulding, changing the handles and a coat of paint. This would make an enormous difference for not much outlay. The bathroom is very old and tired, but understandably a big expense to upgrade. Overall the service is great, the staff are lovely, the hotel is quiet, with plenty of parking. The bed is comfortable...

'Fantastic little get away. The bar and restaurant were top notch meals were first class, staff are friendly, very comfortable sitting infront of the fireplace with a beverage soaking up the character. The rooms were well appointed and the continental breakfast was a welcome addition. Would definitely stay again.'
