'The Settles is a beautiful old hotel and the premier structure in Big Springs. It has been totally remodeled and restored to its former glory. Unfortunately, there’s not much else in Big Springs, though there is so much potential in this town. The hotel has a restaurant which is okay, though there’s not much else to choose from in the town itself. The rooms and especially the beds are awesome. It is not cheap to stay in this hotel, but the beds make it worth it.'

'The staff was welcoming and the room was great. The only thing I wasn’t happy about was the charges for our pet. There was a daily charge then there was a daily cleaning charge ( which I assumed was covered by the daily charge). The room isn’t cleaned every day ( every other day). '

'I come to Lamesa pretty often and after staying here I will NEVER stay anywhere else. The owners are two of the best people I have ever met in my life. They were not only helpful and accommodating but comforting and supportive. They stayed on the phone with me until my room was ready and made me feel like a member of their family. Consider yourself lucky to stay here and know this gem of a couple!'
