'We were meeting up with our daughter who wasn't able to make it home for Christmas. We were looking for a property close to midway, accepted dogs, and was something a little unique. This property fit what we were looking for all the way around. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and the mountain view was fantastic!'

'We loved our stay at this cabin. It has a great feeling of being out in nature as a cabin but with a feel of a newly renovated and quality interior. We took advantage of the screened in porch for morning coffee and evening relaxing with the family. It's a great feature of this house. The kitchen was great and had everything we needed during our stay. The grill I think may have been brand new and worked flawlessly. One reason we stayed here was the access to the river. 'Such a serene, inviting cottage! We enjoyed our peaceful weekend at the mint cottage. It was immaculately clean, comfortable and inviting, and the perfect location to go explore Shenandoah National Park & George Washington National Forest. The kitchen was well-stocked, and it's easy to tell the owner takes great pride in and care of this relaxing space. The walking trails on the property were perfect for the dog too! We will return soon.'
