« Property as advertised. Parking was not the difficulty we had anticipated. »

« We were a party of 5 adults and one child. The cottage is spacious and well furnished. The setting is idyllic with fabulous scenery all round. The owners, who live next door, are very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this cottage! »

« Spent 4 nights in this lovely, comfortable and well equipped property. Great location with walks from the door and well placed to explore the Holme Valley, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, National Coal Mining Museum and for wandering off to the Peak District. Also convenient for Huddersfield. Quiet location minutes from Almondbury where there are shops, pubs cafe and also from Farnley Tyas and it’s pub. Note: the property is on a bus route to Huddersfield. Would we stay again? Definitely »

« the owner was helpful and friendly and we where invited to help feed them which was lovely also we had a spacious bedroom /living room and comfortable beds and kitchen area where well equipped . »

« It was just lovely. The cottage was extremely clean and comfortable and the location was fabulous. The local pub The Dog Inn was lots of fun on a Thursday night as it was quiz night. We will definitely be back as have family local and it’s the perfect place to stay and spend time with them. »
