'My friend, I & great nephew 13yrs enjoyed a very comfortable stay at this property. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated though the white furniture could do with a lick of paint. Having both a bath & a shower was great. Kitchen was well equipped , clean & a welcome pack was left for us. However the kitchen itself could do with being modernised . 'Skipton Lodge was absolutely spotless. Clearly newly refurbished it was modern and had everything one could need. It was nice to walk into a warm house, and we felt very comfortable there.'

'An idyllic village setting, the kids couldn’t have been happier with the distance to the harbour where they spent most of their time rock pooling and messing about in the sea. The dogs were also big fans of the fact that the property was only a stones throw away from the beach. 'AVOID AT ALL COSTS Overall a really horrible stay. From dirty linen to really poor communication it was not a great stay. I definitely do NOT recommend. Holes on the wall, damaged furniture, a dirty sock on the floor, beds not made, smoking alarm coming off the ceiling, dirty linen, no toilet paper… Contact with the host as also been appalling. Been trying to resolve this situation and still waiting on a solution so AVOID! '

'Location was hard to find, had to ask someone in a local shop. It is not accessible and up cobbled steps. We had two dogs and a 6 month old in a pram so that was difficult to navigate. The yard space was okay to let the dogs out and there is a gate but it was always being left open by others so if you have dogs who like to run off, this is not good. 'This property is in an ideal location. The facilities were excellent, everything you could need was there. It was clean and comfortable. Lovely garden for our dog. Parking for two cars. Lots of take aways handy if you did not want to cook. Would recommend this to everyone. Will more than likely book again.'
