'What a beautiful place - perfect for the four of us who were in town for a trail race. House was immaculate, spacious -- loved the back deck for morning coffee and the wraparound porch! Lots of amenities -- so many! Host was so responsive - gave us lots of great restaurant suggestions.One suggestion: Be prepared for no cell service navigating back out and download maps, etc. House has WiFi but we found it was spotty at times and then of course couldn't get the nav to work when we left.But...

'We had a great stay here! The host was incredibly responsive and also had a lot of proactive communication and gestures. We’d mentioned we were getting in late, and wonderful and thoughtful accommodations were made for that. We loved the puzzles & puzzle board, since it rained. Lots of kids books and legos, too. 'The old Mills farm is like going home. The vast backyard invites you to experience the night sky and all it’s wonders. The patio is perfect for quiet evenings by a fire or for morning sunrise yoga, and the lounge chairs provide a place to relax and get some sun. 'The Farmhouse on the River was one of the best rental properties we've stayed at. Private. Comfortable. Excellent communication. Peaceful. Relaxing. The river is beautiful. The yard is expansive and a great place for playing with our dog. The house is clean and welcoming. The location cannot be beat! It is quiet and private, yet stores, restaurants, hiking, fishing, and more are so close. We will absolutely return! '
