'Owner was great. He was helpful and honest. I did not think I had paid yet and he absolutely could have charged me again but did not. As a note though, he speaks predominantly Spanish so this may not be the place to stay if you don't. My only complaint is that the hot water was inconsistent and when it worked it took almost 10 minutes to heat up. There was also no AC, but that is typical for the region.'

'I was a bit apprehensive, as on previous visits to Cdmx, we’d stayed at the FS & St. Regis. We found Casa Tenue had the feel of a boutique property. We very much enjoyed our stay & were well taken care by Jorge. He is personable & professional. Our room was lovely & felt unique. The amenities were more than fine for us - Rosetta baked goods in the AM & pre-dinner Mescal. The location is fabulous! Absolutely would come back in the future. '

'Boutique hotel in beautiful townhouse in the middle of cosy Roma Norte with plenty of restaurants in the neighborhood. The beds are very comfortable but our room on the ground floor of the inner patio was very dark en had inadequate lighting inside. Staff was often hiding at the desk behind closed door and could be more present and more helpful. '

'What a wonderful home base for exploring Coyoacon and the rest of Mexico City! Our room was absolutely lovely. The hotel is tucked down a very small road, so it's quiet, but it's a short walk to the center of Coyoacon or a quick cab ride to the City Center. The staff was welcoming and the rooms were very clean. Highly recommended.'
