Me encantaron el hotel, el servicio, la limpieza y los detalles de atención a los huéspedes: agua embotellada sin restricción, las galletas, guayabas y otros detalles muy agradables. とにかく立地が良くて、どこに行くにもアクセスしやすかったです。フロントの人も親切で色々教えてくれました。ロビーには無料の水、コーヒー、紅茶、お菓子、フルーツなどが置いてあって自由にもらえます。部屋も日本人には程よい大きさでした。朝食のブュッフェも種類が豊富で、7時半オープンで少し遅めですが、時間が許すならここで朝食を取るのはおすすめです。

Hotel is in Centro Histórico which is a very busy and populated area. Once inside the hotel it is very quiet. The breakfast buffet they offer daily is good with variety of options. The staff of the buffet is excellent. The restaurant is good too. The rooms are very clean and spacious . Free private parking garage which is a blessing because there’s barely parking in the neighborhood. We very much appreciated the free snacks (cookies , chips, fruit, peanuts) that are in the lobby. They also have free coffee and refrigerated water. It was very hot during the time we went so we were always grabbing water bottles.

Hotel Catedral located in the historic center of Mexico City far exceeded our expectations. From the professional staff that went out of their way to help. The quiet, commodious and clean rooms were what we needed. When we arrived to the hotel we were pleasantly greeted by the staff and in the lobby the effervescence of tropical fruit engulfed our nasal passages. A bowl of fresh guavas, cookies, coffee and tea were available for us to munch on, ( free bottles of cool water was a huge plus) while we waited to check in. Next to the lobby was a very busy restaurant that unfortunately we did not try. The area where the hotel is located is very busy and noisy with heavy traffic and pedestrians; expected for a huge city. All kinds of restaurants ( Nice Chinese buffet restaurant), bakeries, convenient stores, and a pharmacy a block away encircled the hotel. Can’t say enough about Hotel Catedral, definitely a fine place to enjoy your stay

Hotel Catedral is my now officially my only choice for accommodation in Mexico City. Their location and physical structure are perfect but their staff are what makes this a top-notch hotel. My son was impressed by the staff's attention, friendliness, and overall care of us. Thank you to everyone who took care of us!

Overall, it was a good place. However, our rooms were dirty when we arrived at 11 PM. We had to wait more than one hour for the crew to clean the rooms. They were very nice and apologetic. The manager gave us a complimentary breakfast for the inconvinience.

Great location to see the historic center or travel by Metro to other other parts of the city. The free water was a plus. Clean and quiet room. The area around the hotel is patrolled by police during the entire time we were on the streets.

Upon checking in the male (Juan) was too distracted flirting with the girls up front. He’s a poor communicator and should’ve be working in guest service. Rude and dismissive - looks like he’s 16 and acts like it too. We asked to get our luggage from the bus boy only to wait downstairs with zero communication. We then got ONE key for the room (2 adult women occupied it) only to come up to the 6th floor and have the key NOT work. Thankfully there was a cleaning lady who opened the door after she heard me complaining to my mom. My mom then tries to use the bathroom only to have the toilet overflow with water when she flushed it. Again we told front desk but nobody came up to check it out. So basically these past 3 days we’ve had to be very careful with pooping since the toilet doesn’t flush properly. Gross if you ask me. Lastly, the food wasn’t the best quality and they often ran out of things such as ice. Being my mother is diabetic and they DO NOT offer a fridge she needs her insulin in ice, another inconvenience. Let me end by saying I decided to book this room because I stayed here a couple years back and the service was great not to mention the room I had previously. This is NOT under good management. I will not be returning.
