Heart of Mendocino Village, Fabulous Views!

This warm and welcoming home away from home, the Mendocino Village Suite, has an eye to detail and welcomes you to the heart of Mendocino Village. Featuring knock out white water views and lovingly tended gardens, you will walk up a brick path to your private accommodations and a dutch door entry. Just inside is a fully equipped kitchen with a 4 burner gas stove and all you could imagine for preparing a meal if you wish, including a full size fridge. Village Suite also offer a stacked washer and dryer for your use, which is a rare feature in most rentals in Mendocino. Facing south, is a large picture window with a unobstructed, breathtaking view overlooking the Headlands State Park and the Mendocino Bay. There is a smart TV, DVD player and stereo, a love seat, coffee table, desk, and a large Lazyboy chair with massage features and a gas fireplace so you will be cozy and comfortable. There are also books and DVD's for you to enjoy! A dining table perfectly framed in the south facing window, a pillow top queen bed, and near the bed, a bathroom featuring a tub/shower combo and a garden window. Linens and towels are all upgraded100% cotton, as we provide you what we would want to have ourselves! Your comfort is our goal..A Weber gas BBQ and a charcoal BBQ are in the side yard. In the front of Village Suite are two Adirondack chairs looking out south to the bay where you can enjoy a glass of wine and look at the views. Village Suite is walking distance to restaurants, shops and everything. and yet is not situated in a commercial district of the village, so you will have peace and quiet. Once people stay with us they never stay anywhere else.....We have an automatic generator, so power outages are not a problem!!!!!

We can think of no better place to stay in Mendocino. Such a beautiful, charming, well appointed, very clean and comfortable place within walking distance to not only the Headlands but all shops and restaurants. Host is warm and welcoming and always helpful. Kitchen is wonderfully stocked for cooking and you can't get a better view while you enjoy the complimentary wine.

Cheri and Peter were outstanding hosts. They were exceedingly responsive to our needs and questions, and they also respected our privacy. This cottage is one of our very favorite VRBOs and we have stayed in many in the US and abroad. The location is absolutely perfect - very short walk to town and to the Headlands. We have stayed in this lovely and very comfortable apartment several times, and I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. You have a nice view of the coast - and the Mendocino Headlands, with all its trails, cliffs and offshore rocks, are a five-minute walk outside the front door.

We really enjoyed our stay at this location. It is perfectly situated within walking distance of the village and a beautiful view of the Mendocino headlands. The Little studio is is well equipped with everything you need for dining in, spending a day at the beach, or watching a movie with a nice little fire place. There are two chairs out front with the table in between for sitting outside and enjoying the view. It is peaceful, quiet, and relaxing. Relaxing. A wonderful place to spend your vacation.

This is our third time in this wonderful little cottage. It has everything we need and more...the power went out during our stay and a generator kicked on...stayed on till the power came back on! The location, the views, the town of Mendocino--just perfect if you want peace and quiet, walking along the headlands and enjoying good food (either at a local restaurant or making it yourself with groceries from Harvest Market). Peter and Cheri are excellent hosts.

Mendocino's finest VRBO!

This is our third or fourth stay at this cottage and we will always stay here when we visit Mendocino. Cozy and extremely comortable with beautiful uninterrupted ocean views.Our dream vacation style is to arrive, park our car and then walk to everything we want to do locally. The location of this cottage offers that perfectly. All the restaurants and even the local grocery store are within easy walking distance.We like to cook our own breakfasts and the kitchen here has everything we needed.The owner Cheri is wonderful and extremely responsive.All in all the perfect stay in Mendocino!!

Cheri made the check-in easy, and welcoming. The space was clean, renewed, and has all of the equipment necessary (spatulas, coffee machine, pots and pans, even a charger!) to make moving in and out as efficient as possible. No wonder this place is always booked! The location is stunning and safe, with access to both entries in and out of the park.
