'This hotel is close to Shinjuku bars and restaurants, well connected to Shinjuku station, and lots of nice restaurants are on the hotel site and close by. We also enjoyed Restaurant Parks on levels 12, 13, and 14 in the Hands Dept store only a short walk away. Our room was very large and the bed was very comfortable. We took a taxi from Haneda Airport to the hotel for AU$106.00, which we thought was great value. It was also easy to reach key tourist attractions from this hotel.'

The buffet is a mix of East and West, with many warm options such as beef ragout pasta and grilled chicken (if that is what you like) but you also find the traditional Western items there such as cheese, smoked salmon, eggs etc. The hotel was close to a railway station which I could use with my Japan rail pass. It's in a quiet and safe area and when you look out of the window you are not going to see many neon signs or those typical Tokyo neon lit streets, but you are just a very short drive removed from Shinjuku station which provides more action. You get a personal terrace which I found great. I personally had the view of the park which was amazing. Personally I appreciated the quiet surrounding, but it's a matter of preference. I did not use the common pool but they have one. I did use the gym though. It is a nice clean gym. Putting some weights there would be a nice addition for those of us who like to work with weights instead of doing cardio. All in all, I would say 9/10. Thanks a lot. "

Ventilation in bathroom was minimal so it got easily steamy there and you are not allowed to keep door open as that can make the fire alarm to go off..."
